The Opportunity
The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for leading core finance activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust financial planning, and strong financial control. The role supports strategic decision-making by providing insight, analysis, and leadership across financial operations and business performance.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
- Ensure a robust end to end month end process, including compliance to the timetable, task list, journal standards and approval process, balance sheet reports, process documents and improvement projects
- Present financial results and insights to senior finance leadership
- Manage the integrity of month end numbers by gaining a full understanding of the business system SYNC to gain deep knowledge of the Goods Receipts and Accrued Income postings
- Own the collaboration with the RSIS Finance Operations, Commercial and FP&A functions for the relevant markets
- Manage balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Provide clear financial insights and commentary to senior stakeholders
- Support audit processes (internal and external) and resolve findings
- Manage financial risks and ensure adherence to governance standards
- Drive consistency and standardisation across finance processes
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals
- Drive a high-performance culture with clear accountability and delivery focus
- Support talent development and succession planning
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and reporting quality
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including system implementations
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and reporting tools

What You’ll Bring
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong systems knowledge (e.g., ERP, planning tools, Excel/Power BI)
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience in financial control and audit environments
- People management experience
- A team player who enjoys collaborating, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Change management experience desired with the ability to assess and improve day to day accounting operations and systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience leading teams and driving change
