Contract type: Permanent Location: London Working style: Hybrid (50% home/office based)

About the Role

Join Royal London Asset Management’s FP&A team, playing a pivotal role in shaping high-quality management accounts, MI, and insight for senior leaders, ExCo, and Board.

This high-impact role involves leading the monthly management accounts and MI cycle, collaborating closely with CFO and CEO, and taking ownership of business planning and forecasting during key strategic moments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of monthly Management Information (MI) to ExCo and RLAM Boards, ensuring direction, consistency, and high-quality outputs with oversight of all functional MI packs.
  • Drive a deep understanding of P&L performance, fully articulating variances to Plan, Forecast, and prior periods, and establishing clear business driver linkages.
  • Manage business planning and forecasting processes, including governance, timelines, and stakeholder engagement, supported by robust, insightful analysis.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for CFO and Group Finance, leading AuM, revenue, flows, and expense discussions while providing clear, strategic financial insights.
  • Oversee Financial Control activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness of monthly accruals, and strengthening control environment standards.
  • Lead consolidation and review of FP&A analyst outputs, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with financial narratives.
  • Manage and develop a team of three, providing coaching, direction, and performance oversight for high-quality delivery.
  • Own entity-level analysis for Plan & Forecast, enabling data-driven decision-making for senior stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Commercial Finance and senior business stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
