Your New Company

This is a rare opportunity for a commercially mined Senior Finance Manager to become the first dedicated finance hire within a fast-scaling Luxury Retail business. Reporting directly into the leadership team, you will take ownership of building the finance function from the ground up, implementing robust financial processes, controls, systems, and reporting infrastructure to support the company's ambitious growth plans. Operating in a hands-on capacity, you will oversee everything from month-end and cash flow management to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision support.

As the business continues to expand, you will play a key role in shaping the finance function, driving operational efficiencies, and ultimately building and leading a high-performing finance team. This role would suit an entrepreneurial finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating structure, influencing decision-making, and scaling businesses through periods of significant growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
