Job Title: Senior Finance Manager
Location: Central London, hybrid (2 to 3 days per week London office, including Fridays)
Contract: Temporary, 3 to 6 months
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £30.14 per hour (plus holiday) (circa £55,000 to £60,000 salaried equivalent)
About the Role:
We are partnering with a leading charity to appoint an interim Senior Finance Manager during a period of significant organizational transition. This is a hands-on, strategic role designed to stabilize the finance function, support senior leadership, and mentor a talented but developing team.
The primary objective is to ensure operational continuity while upskilling the existing team, specifically supporting the transition of the current Finance Manager and the development of the Senior Finance Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Delivery: Lead the production of management accounts, ensure high-quality reporting to commissioners, and manage unpredictable funding streams.
- Process Improvement: Drive the development of financial dashboards and streamline reporting packs to enhance visibility for the leadership team.
- Mentorship: Act as a steadying hand, providing guidance and technical support to the internal team to help them step into their new responsibilities.
- Stakeholder Management: Navigate internal changes with diplomacy, ensuring the team remains confident and supported throughout the transition.
About You:
- Expertise: A highly experienced finance professional who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
- Versatility: You are comfortable working across high-level strategy and rolling up your sleeves to handle complex day-to-day accounting.
- Communication: A natural mentor who can provide authority and direction while remaining sensitive to the team’s current dynamics.
- Availability: You are available for an immediate start to ensure a smooth handover period.
