What will I be doing?

The Senior Finance Operations Manager is an experienced people leader who oversees management accounting and financial reporting across Kaluza’s international footprint. The role is broad by design: you will work on issues of a diverse and complex nature, spanning multiple jurisdictions and business functions in the UK, Portugal, France, Japan and the US.

The key objectives of the Kaluza FinOps team are:

  • Financial Control: to ensure resources are directed, monitored and measured in an accurate and timely manner and to maintain a ‘No Surprises Environment’
  • Value creation through more efficient processes and AI frameworks.

You will be the primary contact for internal teams on all finance operations matters, responsible for the smooth running of the function and for driving process improvements across our global teams.

Key responsibilities:

Financial reporting

  • Month-end and year-end close management, including preparation of monthly management accounts and contribution to Board reporting packs.
  • Consolidation of Kaluza’s global results with meaningful analysis for the Board, Executive team and external stakeholders.
  • Balance sheet reconciliation review and preparation, including creation and maintenance of technical accounting papers under IFRS.
  • Managing and monitoring compliance across all international tax obligations, including VAT, payroll taxes and other employee-related taxes, working alongside the Tax Manager.
  • Preparation and review of workpapers for the annual statutory accounts; acting as key contact for the external auditor and supporting the Group audit process.
  • Support for the set-up of new international business financial systems and processes, including support and review of international entity reporting into the Group.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
