About the Role
A leading global law firm are recruiting for a senior solicitor with experience in banking and finance to join their dynamic and innovative UK remote working digital legal delivery team.
Requirements:
- Must be UK-based (excluding Northern Ireland)
- Must live at least 100 miles away from the firm's London office
- Otherwise location agnostic (Possible travel to the London office may be required from time to time)
Position Overview
As the senior finance solicitor, you will collaborate closely with the firm’s Digital Finance Senior Team, specialising in:
- Securitisation and structured finance
- Energy finance
- Project finance and infrastructure
- Real estate finance
- Leveraged finance
Key Responsibilities
- Work with London-based teams, clients, and counterparties
- Act as the key point of contact for business development with clients
- Handle outsourcing projects, including:
- Negotiating BAU finance arrangements
- Drafting NDAs and release letters
- Serving as an extension of the client’s in-house legal team

Requirements
To succeed as the senior finance solicitor, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

A qualified solicitor in either:
- England & Wales
- Northern Ireland
- Honourable exceptions considered for:
- Republic of Ireland candidates
- Candidates from common law/international jurisdictions
- Commitment required to requalify in England & Wales if not already qualified there

At least three years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) (unless strongly justified otherwise with a supporting statement outlining exceptional skills/experience)

Proven experience in:
- Financing transactions (operating at mid-associated and above levels)
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and project management skills
- Foundation-level people management and business development

Understanding of law firm profitability and cost-efficiency drivers (ability to support budget management).
