The Senior Finance Specialist – Pre-commissioning & Maintenance is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering across assigned regions within the Pre-commissioning & Maintenance (P&M) business. This role provides critical financial insight to support decision-making, drive operational and commercial performance, and ensure the achievement of financial commitments. The successful candidate will be a proactive finance professional with strong analytical capabilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to build effective relationships across the organization.

As a Senior Finance Specialist - Pre-commissioning & Maintenance, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading bi-weekly forecasting, annual plans, long-range planning (LRP), and financial closing activities for assigned regions of the business
  • Driving forecast accuracy through robust risk and opportunity management, scenario planning, and financial modeling
  • Partnering with regional operational, commercial, and functional leaders to drive business performance and support strategic decision-making
  • Providing insightful analysis of revenue, margins, cash flow, and key performance indicators to identify risks and opportunities
  • Monitoring project and service execution performance, challenging variances and working with stakeholders to deliver financial commitments
  • Preparing and presenting financial results, forecasts, and business insights to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and reporting requirements, maintaining the integrity of financial information
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to simplify reporting, enhance data quality, and increase financial transparency
  • Supporting and leading ad hoc strategic initiatives and projects as required
  • Acting as a key interface between the region and global leadership, translating business performance into actionable insights and recommendations

Fuel your passion:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience in Finance and Accounting
  • Significant experience in Finance, including demonstrated experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate operational drivers into financial outcomes
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis and reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a matrix environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to operate with autonomy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on simplification and data quality
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar systems
