Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Rate: $20 – $30/hour
About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Finance Expert to work on a contract basis. The role involves managing financial operations for a global platform connecting businesses with freelance talent. Key aspects include:
- Overseeing financial transactions (across multiple currencies and payment methods)
- Ensuring compliance and maintaining accurate financial records
Responsibilities
Branch responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Processing and reconciling financial transactions
- Monitoring and reporting on financial performance (revenue, expenses, cash flow)
- Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and reporting
- Performing financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning

Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in: financial accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in: accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel)
- Analytical & problem-solving: ability to interpret financial data
- Knowledge of: tax compliance and regulatory requirements in financial operations
- Remote work adaptability: self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision
