Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Finance Specialist to join them on a contract basis. This role involves managing financial operations for a global platform connecting businesses with freelance talent.
The focus includes:
- Overseeing financial transactions
- Ensuring compliance
- Maintaining accurate records
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile financial transactions across multiple currencies and payment methods
- Monitor and report on financial performance, covering revenue, expenses, and cash flow
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise financial workflows and reporting
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning

Requirements & Experience
Essential Skills & Qualifications: ✔ Experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting ✔ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel) ✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data ✔ Knowledge of tax compliance and regulatory requirements in financial operations ✔ Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
