Senior Financial Accountant
Based near Basingstoke
Salary to c£65k pa

We're recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team supporting operations across the UK, Europe, and the US. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a global business environment while taking ownership of key accounting activities and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close processes, and partnering with stakeholders across multiple international locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, General Ledger, inventory and fixed assets
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
- Preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
- Assisting with statutory reporting and compliance requirements
- Supporting VAT returns, audits and internal controls
- Working closely with FP&A teams on reporting, margin analysis and forecasting
- Assisting with cashflow forecasting and treasury activities
- Supporting payroll processes and liaising with external providers
- Driving continuous improvement across finance processes and systems

About You
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Previous experience in a similar financial accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience using ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with international stakeholders
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a desire to improve processes
