On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established metal recycling business that forms part of a larger international recycling group. Specialising in both consumer and industrial scrap metal recycling, the company provides a comprehensive range of services, including container transportation and tailored recycling solutions. In this office-based role, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and analysing financial statements
- Managing accounts payable, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Overseeing month-end and year-end processes
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assisting with audits while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Working closely with the wider team to help improve financial reporting processes
- Providing guidance to junior colleagues
The Role:
- Responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements
- Working on Flexographic printers, die cutters and gluers
- Managing accounts payable, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
The Person:
- Financial Accountant or similar
- Commutable to Shildon
