A deliberately versatile role covering finance operations, financial control and reporting. You’ll be the Financial Controller’s primary partner, owning high-impact work with cross-business visibility while shaping the function as demand grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Owner of month-end and year-end close: Deliver accurate, timely reports aligned with IFRS and regulatory requirements
- Statutory financial statements and disclosures: Support audit processes and external audits
- Technical reporting model maintenance: Focus on IFRS 2, IFRS 9 and IFRS 16
- Day-to-day finance operations: Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and cash settlements under strong control governance
- Internal controls design and improvement: Drive automation and efficiency as the bank scales

About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CPA or CIMA) with relevant industry experience
- Strong core accounting expertise and practical IFRS experience in financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting
- Exposure to statutory accounts preparation and supporting external audits
- Strong Excel and data literacy: Comfortable with large datasets to refine accuracy and efficiency
- Practical mindset toward modern tools and AI integration; SQL/Python experience advantageous
