About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to shaped the future of financial reporting through transformation projects. You will help deliver controlled, efficient, and IFRS-compliant financial reporting, while contributing to wider finance initiatives and driving continuous improvement. In partnership with cross-functional teams, your expertise will shape high-quality reporting outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
You will play a key role in:
- Supporting the development of financial reports, including:
- Scoping, mapping, and productionisation
- Contributing to IFRS 18 implementation, documentation of technical accounting impacts, and practical application
- Driving simplification and disaggregation of working papers under a safe, controlled structure
- Supporting early-stage activities during a potential ERP migration
- Providing assistance with Business-as-Usual (BAU) activities, freeing up SMEs to focus on critical projects
- Assisting the wider Finance team with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required

Who we’re looking for
We need a proactive, technically strong finance professional with a deep understanding of financial accounting and reporting. You will:
- Work independently yet collaboratively, interpreting complex financial information and communicating it clearly
- Bring a curious mindset, attention to detail and an enthusiasm to optimise processes
- Have strong stakeholder management skills to engage with both finance and non-finance teams
Essential Criteria
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in financial reporting, including interpreting and applying accounting standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to challenge processes and drive continuous improvements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance audiences
Desirable Industry Experience:
- Experience supporting/working on an ERP migration from a financial reporting perspective
- Prior experience within the financial services sector
