Job Description
For Universal United Kingdom Resort (UUKR), this position provides daily financial support to the project including monthly project cost reporting and analysis, month-end close requirements, cash flow tracking/forecasting, vendor payment management, ad-hoc analysis, and general financial support, within tight deadlines. May include direct supervisory responsibilities for entry-level Finance positions.

Major Responsibilities
- Complete monthly project cost reporting and distribute to management. Work with project managers to update project cost expectations and communicate all project activity via monthly report/presentation. Be the “go-to” person for financial information. Present cohesive and informative information to both executive and non-executive audiences; schedule and host training sessions as the finance subject matter expert without supervision required.
- Month-end close requirements, including prepare monthly project status and accrual reports, prepare and post applicable charge-outs and earned value journal entries in SAP. Prepare monthly or quarterly G/L lead sheet reconciliations as required by controllership.
- Meet with stakeholders to forecast cash flow on a routine basis (monthly, quarterly, annually, project life). Prepare detailed cause of change and provide projection to actual variance analysis. Be able to create risks and opportunities for cash flow sensitivity and assign level of confidence.
- Maintain PMWeb (project tracking system) to be consistent with SAP (general ledger). Make enhancement recommendations to software and current close procedures.
- Review, audit, and approve contract drafts, purchase requisitions, and invoices/payment applications related to project.
- Research vendor payment issues and resolve.
- Assist in the vendor bid and award process including cost comparison and bid review meetings.
- Improve reporting processes using automation whenever possible.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned with minimal coaching.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced).
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Forecasting and basic budgeting.
- Analytical thinking.
- Planning and scheduling.
- Accounting research.
- Able to collaborate with project team.
- Previous construction experience.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment (project, team, deadlines, etc.).
