Senior Finance Analyst (Financial Control & Reporting) | 12-Month Contract | Derby

Derby (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Up to £468/day Umbrella (£344.80/day PAYE)

12-Month Contract

I'm supporting a globally recognised engineering organisation with the appointment of a Senior Finance Analyst to join their Corporate Financial Reporting team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys combining financial reporting, financial control, FP&A and business partnering within a large, complex organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver monthly and year-end financial reporting and actuals
  • Lead forecasting cycles, coordinating inputs, maintaining forecasting models and providing meaningful financial insight
  • Partner with Programme Finance teams, leading variance analysis reviews and supporting decision making
  • Lead balance sheet reviews, reconciliations and financial assurance activities
  • Ensure robust financial controls, governance and audit compliance
  • Drive process improvements across financial reporting and forecasting
  • Mentor and support junior members of the finance team

We're looking for:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Strong Financial Reporting, Financial Control and/or FP&A experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience managing complex financial processes
  • SAP, HFM and/or Oracle Hyperion Planning (OHP) experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior finance colleagues
