Senior Financial Analyst
Senior Finance Analyst x2 (Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance Team) & Senior Business Accounting x1
Contract & Location
- Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours per week)
- Location: Stratford, London or Old Trafford, Manchester
- Working Pattern: Agile Worker – 20%–40% of hours to be worked from home (hybrid)
Grade & Salary
- Grade: 9
- Starting Salary:
- £48,691 per annum (London-weighted)
- £42,668 per annum (Regional, dependent on experience)

About the Role
L&Q is seeking commercially astute, technically skilled individuals to join as Senior Finance Analysts in the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance Team. This is a pivotal opportunity to gain strategic financial oversight while partnering across the business.
Two Senior Finance Analyst roles are available, along with: ⌄ 1x Senior Business Accounting Analyst Qualification: Finalist or part-qualified with a recognised accounting body Experience: Relevant experience in Finance (Housing/Property/Construction) or complex organisational environments
Your Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities (All Roles):
- Provide strategic financial support and insightful management information for business decision-making.
- Partner with budget holders, operational teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Assess KPIs, business performance, and financial compliance.
- Review and improve finance processes, internal controls, and audit readiness.

1x Senior Finance Analyst – Business Accounting
- Act as a business partner to Development, Property Services, Customer Services & Corporate Services.
- Lead preparation of statutory accounts for subsidiaries/joint ventures (including group consolidations).
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure accuracy and deadlines.
- Oversee audit processes: schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance.
1x Senior Finance Analyst – Corporate Services
- Support core business functions: Finance, Governance, HR.
- Provide financial analysis for strategic growth and sustainability.
- Align financial services with governance and strategic objectives.
- Manage budgeting, reporting, and financial targets/KPIs.
- Maintain compliance and accurate financial reporting.
What You’ll Bring
- Academic & Professional Requirements:
- Part-qualified with an accounting body (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW).
- Hands-on experience in finance, housing, property/construction, or large organisations.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Expert in advanced Excel, ERP systems, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional communication skills and proven business partnering experience.
- Strong in time management, project coordination, and process improvement.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive data-driven decision-making.
