Role Overview

The Senior FP&A Analyst will act as a strategic business partner to key departments, taking ownership of:

  • The annual budget and forecast process, with a focus on improving accuracy through developed methodologies
  • Business planning and growth strategy alignment, enabling realistic P&L target assessments
  • Cost driver analysis and trend identification to support financial credibility
  • Preparation of business cases to inform strategic and tactical decision-making

This role requires a proactive approach in bridging finance with operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting processes, and variance analysis to enhance financial precision
  • Collaborate across departments to align business strategy with financial goals
  • Analyse operator metrics and identify cost-saving opportunities for improved P&L performance
  • Prepare financial models to support management’s decision-making for strategic, operational and tactical contexts
  • Present actionable insights to non-financial stakeholders, simplifying complex information
  • Contribute to financial performance reporting and strategic planning exercises

Requirements & Profile

Qualifications & Certifications

The ideal candidate will hold professional accounting qualifications, such as:

  • ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants)
  • ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
  • CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)
