Are you ready to get in on the ground floor of Amazon's long-term initiative to design, launch and maintain a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world? It's Day 1 for Amazon's next billion dollar business and we are looking for an analytically-minded Financial Analyst to work in a start-up environment who is passionate about technology, who thinks/acts globally, who thrives in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, and who has the ability to develop solutions to business questions.
The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial by nature, analytical in approach, have a demonstrated ability to develop financial models that provide intelligence for business decisions and able to leverage their project management skills to support business objectives. This role requires a self-starter with strong business modelling skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight, and a track record of supporting the business with data-driven insights. The candidate must have the aptitude to learn and incorporate new approaches and methodologies (including statistical concepts) while dealing with big data, actively leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and analysis, and be able to help define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
