Senior Finance Analyst β Financial Control
π Derby, UK (Hybrid β 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

12-Month Contract

We're recruiting an experienced Senior Finance Analyst β Financial Control to join a Civil Aerospace Financial Reporting team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a globally recognised engineering organisation, supporting financial reporting, governance, and business performance across a complex and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate monthly financial reporting, actuals, and performance analysis against budget and forecast.
- Partner with Finance teams to develop robust budgets and forecasts that support strategic business decisions.
- Ensure financial integrity through strong financial controls, governance, and documentation.
- Lead balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and assurance activities.
- Manage audit requirements and internal reporting deliverables.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting processes and financial controls.

Required Skills & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience in Financial Control, Financial Reporting, FP&A, or a similar finance function.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with an understanding of financial controls and governance.
- Experience using SAP, HFM, and/or Oracle Hyperion Planning (OHP).
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive process enhancements.
