Senior Financial Analyst
Senior Financial Accountant (UK & Ireland Statutory Reporting) – ACCA Approved Employer

Core Responsibilities
Statutory Financial Reporting & Compliance
in accountability and clear communication?
- Produce end-to-end statutory accounts for nine UK & Ireland legal entities, adhering to UK GAAP/IFRS and company law.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and handle manual journal adjustments, ensuring precise alignment with universal accounting principles.
- Maintain SOX control compliance across assigned entities and act as the primary auditor liaison.
Financial Analysis & Collaboration
- Support month-end close activities, providing accurate data insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Review/analyse financial datasets to enhance accuracy and identify reporting risks.
- Collaborate with stakeholder groups:
- Internal Shared Services (EMEA)
- Corporate Controllership
- across interpret, clarify complex financial demands.
Center of Excellence: UK & Ireland Team
- Serve as a technical expert, offering support to the broader UK & Ireland finance team on intricate accounting matters.
- Partner closely with tax teams, law (Legal Entities) divisions, and wider organisation sustainability/ESG commitments.

Project Involvement
- Actively contribute to ad hoc internal projects, moderating when experiences and creative problem-solving are needed.

Essential Requirements
- Chartered qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or working towards.
- Strong technical grounding in UK GAAP and IFRS; US GAAP exposure desirable.
- Proven SAP experience (essential for reconciliation & reporting).
- Analytical rigour: Excel mastery to crunch, visualise and scrutinise financial data.
