Senior Financial Controller
🎵 Senior Financial Controller | Music Industry | London (Hybrid – 3 days in office) Up to £95,000 + bonus + excellent benefits
This is one of those Financial Controller opportunities that rarely comes to market. Imagine partnering with some of the world's biggest and most respected record labels and artists, working alongside an exceptional CFO and Executive Leadership Team, and playing a pivotal role in the transformation of a finance function at the heart of the music industry.
You'll own the monthly reporting cycle, statutory accounts, audit and financial control, but this role goes far beyond traditional controllership. You'll become a trusted business partner to senior leaders including the CFO, Finance Director, Chief Licensing Officer and Director of Tax, helping shape strategic decisions across Distribution, Transformation, People, Change and Projects.
With significant investment in the finance function and exposure to an outstanding leadership team, this is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Financial Controller looking to broaden their experience, increase their commercial exposure and accelerate their career.

What You'll Be Doing Alongside the commercial exposure, you'll take ownership of a best-in-class financial control environment, including: Leading the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes. Producing monthly management accounts, Board packs and financial reporting. Ownership of statutory accounts, regulatory reporting and external audit. Balance sheet governance, reconciliations and working capital management. Maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements. Driving continuous improvement across finance processes and systems. Supporting strategic projects and acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders across the business.

About You
You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong Financial Controller experience and the confidence to operate in a highly visible leadership role.
You'll bring: ✔ Controller or senior controllership experience. ✔ Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP/IFRS, statutory reporting and audit. ✔ A proven track record of producing high-quality monthly reporting and maintaining a robust financial control environment. ✔ Outstanding business partnering and stakeholder management skills. ✔ Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams. ✔ The confidence and credibility to influence Executive and Board-level stakeholders. ✔ A proactive mindset with a passion for transformation, continuous improvement and building relationships across the business.
