Role Title: Senior Financial Planner (Chartered)

Company: Murphy Wealth

Location: Glasgow (on site)

About the Role

This is a senior appointment for a qualified professional to join an elite Glasgow-based wealth management boutique. Unlike many senior roles, this position comes with the responsibility of managing a high-value, established client base. You will provide the technical and strategic oversight required to maintain and grow these long-standing relationships, ensuring that complex personal and corporate wealth structures are managed with absolute precision.

As the firm scales, there is a requirement for a lead advisor capable of navigating the high-level complexities of HNW individuals, business owners, and entrepreneurs. Your mandate is to provide technical elevation; you will bridge the gap between rigorous financial planning and long-term wealth strategy. By leveraging Voyant, you will deconstruct intricate financial data into clear, actionable roadmaps, ensuring the firm’s expanding portfolio receives a premier level of financial certainty.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
