Senior Financial Planner

Senior Financial Planner – Truro, Hybrid Role

About the Role

Titan Wealth is a fast-growing, globally minded wealth management business, delivering a fairer, more efficient model focused on adviser-led wealth management. Our environment encourages initiative, collaboration and innovation—empowering teams to deliver exceptional long-term outcomes for clients.

We are expanding our Truro office and are seeking a Senior Financial Planner to inherit and develop an established client bank of circa £60m AUM across 110 households. This is a flexible hybrid role, balancing office-based client work, advisory sessions, and cross-team collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Advice Delivery

  • Take full ownership of an established client portfolio, delivering holistic financial planning advice aligned with their goals
  • Provide high-quality specialised advice across all key areas:
    • Pensions
    • Investments
    • Protection planning
    • Tax efficiency strategies
    • Retirement planning
  • Foster and strengthen client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional advice services
  • Maintain proactive communication, ensuring efficient and personalised client service throughout reviews
  • Generate additional revenue via referrals, cross-selling, and client referrals
  • Integrate seamlessly with Titan’s expertise (investment management, employee benefits, etc.) to deliver cohesive financial solutions

Business Development

  • Maximise potential within the existing client base by seeking new advisory opportunities
  • Build and nurture external professional relationships (accountants, solicitors, lending advisors)
  • Contribute to local growth initiatives, supporting Titan’s regional and national strategy

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all advice complies with FCA regulations and Titan’s policies
  • Maintain Competent Adviser Status (CAS) and uphold "Fit & Proper" requirements
  • Overseer accurate and compliant suitability reports and client documentation
  • Continuously update technical knowledge to stay ahead of industry developments
  • Align all work with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles

About You

Essential Requirements

✅ Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent qualification) ✅ Current CAS status / licence as an Approved Person (tier 1 & 2) under the Senior Management Arrangements ✅ Proven experience as a Financial Planner, with managed or grown a client base ✅ Strong ability to deliver holistic financial planning solutions ✅ Excellent client relationship skills and interpersonal communication

Desirable

🔹 Chartered Financial Planner (or working towards this status) 🔹 Experience inheriting or expanding an existing client bank 🔹 In depth knowledge of protection, investments, wastage planning and corporate solutions 🔹 Background in paraplanning support, offering invaluable insight into client management efficiency
