📍 Location: Truro Office ⏰ Role Type: Flexible Hybrid

We are seeking a Senior Financial Planner to join our Truro office, with the exciting opportunity to inherit and develop an existing client bank. This role will allow you to:

  • Focus on client relationships and high-quality advice delivery
  • Receive full-backed support from paraplanning and client services teams

This is an established £60m+ AUM client portfolio spanning 110 households.


📌 Responsibilities

🏦 Client Management & Advice Delivery

  • Inherit and manage an established client bank, delivering holistic financial planning advice
  • Provide high-quality advice across:
    • Pensions
    • Investments
    • Protection
    • Tax planning
    • Retirement strategies
  • Strengthen long-term client relationships
  • Ensure excellent service standards and communication throughout the client journey
  • Embed proactive and timely engagement cycles
  • Generate additional revenue via cross-selling and referrals
  • Collaborate with Titan teams (investment management, tax, etc.) to deliver integrated solutions

📈 Business Development

  • Explore growth opportunities within the existing client bank
  • Support organic growth through referrals and professional introducers
  • Foster relationships with external partners (accountants, solicitors, etc.)
  • Align contribution to local, regional, and national growth strategies

⚖️ Compliance & Governance

  • Provide FCA-compliant financial guidance
  • Maintain Competent Adviser Status (CAS) and ‘Fit & Proper’ requirements
  • Ensure all client files and suitability reports meet compliance standards
  • Stay updated with industry developments
  • Adhere to TCF principles at all times

🎯 About You

📎 Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • CAS status / current SPS holder
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships as a Financial Planner
  • Strong ability to deliver holistic financial advice
  • Outstanding communication and relationship management skills

💎 Desirable (Adds Great Value!)

  • Chartered Financial Planner (or working towards)
  • Experience with inheriting or managing an existing client bank
  • Broad technical knowledge across all financial planning areas
  • Previous paraplanning support experience
