Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Finance Specialist to work on a contract basis. The role involves managing financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will support day-to-day financial operations, while maintaining accuracy in reporting and documentation.
Location & Type
- Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
- Job Type: Contract
- Payout: $15 - $28 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily financial transactions, adhering to accounting principles
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis to support financial decision-making
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory reporting requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial close processes

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel required)
- In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger management (preferred)
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports for stakeholders essential
- Must be detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy in financial records
