What’s The Opportunity
Our Senior Fire Engineers lead the delivery of fire engineering projects working directly with clients and design teams to develop practical, compliant and buildable solutions. We are recruiting a Senior Fire Engineer who has extensive experience to be part of the design team from day one. You’ll work across a genuinely varied portfolio from Formula 1 facilities and heritage museums projects, to university frameworks and complex historic residential buildings. It’s the type of work that calls for sound judgement, close collaboration and practical fire strategies.
This is a role for someone who has extensive relevant experience of working at a senior level, confident taking ownership: leading fire strategies, managing delivery, and shaping outcomes across projects. You will help developing solutions that go beyond compliance and support real-world design. This role can be based in any of our offices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
