Senior Floor Manager – JD Sports Flagship Store

Role Overview
As a Senior Floor Manager in a JD Sports flagship store, you’ll drive commercial success by leading a high-performing team. You’ll set the standard for a premium JD experience, ensuring:
- Motivated frontline staff delivering exceptional customer service
- Consistent operations that align with our high standards
- Breakthrough commercial results through merchandising, stock management, and sales leadership
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring confidence, commercial acumen, and the ability to elevate team performance under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute the JD standard of service daily, ensuring a superior customer experience
- Maximise sales and profitability through:
- Smart merchandising and stock management
- Effective team motivation and performance coaching
- Own the store’s core KPIs, ensuring sustained growth
- Manage day-to-day operations, including:
- Store opening and closing routines
- Cash handling, audit compliance, and stock accuracy -Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies
Build, grow, and empower a high-performing team through recruitment, training, and coaching.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven supervisory or management experience in a high-pressure retail environment
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of uplifting team morale
- Exceptional communication and ability to resolve customer challenges confidently
- Commercial mindset with knowledge of retail metrics and operations
- Precision-oriented with a track record of maintaining premium standards

- Experience in visual merchandising or product presentation
- Resilient, energetic, and thrives in high-energy sales floors
