We're looking for a Floor Manager who leads from the front, develops the people around them, and has ideas about what great hospitality looks like. If that sounds like you, read on.

The package: £42,000 - 45,000 including service charge
48 hours a week (5 out of 7 days)

THE ROLE

This is a Senior Floor Manager position, but it’s also a development opportunity for the right person. You’ll be a key figure in our front-of-house team; Visible during service, close to guests, and importantly, building the confidence and capability of the people around you. We want someone who makes the whole floor better by being on it. That means reading a service, spotting where someone needs a steer, and giving it, in the moment, without fuss. You’re not above getting stuck in when the floor needs it, and you wouldn’t want to be. It also means bringing ideas, noticing what isn’t working, and saying so. You’ll work closely with the senior management team and have real input into how service evolves at the restaurant. For the right candidate, this is a role you can genuinely grow into.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Leading the floor through service; Setting the pace, maintaining the standard, and keeping your team focused and confident.
  • Running briefings that actually land; Clear, motivating, and relevant to the shift ahead.
  • Coaching team members in real time; Noticing what needs improving and addressing it in a way that builds people up rather than knocks them down.
  • Building genuine relationships with our regulars and guests, especially in the main dining room and private events through the Garden Room.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of private dining and events, from corporate dinners to celebrations.
  • Feeding back to the management team on what’s working, what isn’t, and what could be better; We want to hear it.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Someone who is genuinely drawn to hospitality; The guest experience matters to you, not just the operation.
  • Experience in a management role within a quality restaurant or bar environment. You’ve held responsibility for a floor and a team before.
  • A natural communicator who can adapt their approach; Whether that’s a quiet word with a team member mid-service or handling a guest complaint with composure.
  • The kind of leader who makes people better. Coaching and developing others is something you find energising, not draining.
  • Composure under pressure and good instincts when a service needs redirecting.
  • Ambition. You’re early in your management career and you want to develop; That’s exactly the shape of person this role suits.
