Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Remote Build)
Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Remote Build) – United Kingdom (Remote)
Partnership Opportunity with a Global Enterprise AI Platform
This position is listed on behalf of Jobgether on behalf of our partner, who manages all applications and next steps.
About the Role
The Senior Forward Deployed Engineer plays a pivotal role at the intersection of engineering, customer delivery, and applied AI, partnering directly with enterprise clients to transform complex operational challenges into reliable, production-grade systems. You will architect, deploy, and refine integrations, automations, and AI workflows that connect legacy enterprise systems with modern cloud platforms—driving tangible business value in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
Expected to operate with full technical ownership across the entire lifecycle (discovery, design, deployment, and iteration), your work will ensure scalability, security, and measurable impact. A key distinction of this role is translating customer insights into reusable engineering frameworks, standardising best practices for scaling deployments globally.
This is a high-impact opportunity in a remote-first, collaboration-driven team tackling enterprise AI at scale. Experience in HRIS, payroll, multi-tenant SaaS, or enterprise integrations is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Technical Delivery
- Lead discovery sessions to define business challenges, success metrics, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with a "Definition of Done" for every project.
- Obtain ownership of end-to-end solutions—designing APIs, event-driven systems, data integrations, and AI workflows while ensuring seamless integration between enterprise systems and proprietary platforms.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders (Product, Sales, Customer Success) to articulate technical requirements, refine architecture, and advocate for scalable solutions.
AI & System Deployment
- Build and maintain low-latency AI systems using LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent workflows, and evaluation frameworks, ensuring reliable, secure, and auditable outputs.
- Deploy solutions with observability, automated testing, and guardrails for performance, security, and fairness, while managing incident response and iterative improvement.
- ESTABLISH metrics pipelines, including KPIs, regression tests, and performance benchmarks, to validate system quality and ROI.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
