Senior FP&A Analyst (x2) | Blackburn or London (Hybrid)

Join a growing FP&A team and help shape the financial direction of the business.

We're looking for two commercially minded Senior FP&A Analysts to join our expanding Finance team. These are fantastic opportunities for ambitious finance professionals who thrive on turning complex data into meaningful business insights and want to play a key role in influencing senior leadership.

Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, you'll become a trusted business partner across Finance and Operations, supporting Executive Leadership, the Operations Board and the Main Board with high-quality analysis, forecasting and strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities, ensuring robust financial planning across the business.
  • Develop and enhance financial models to support commercial decision-making, scenario planning and forecasting accuracy.
  • Own project revenue reporting and deliver enhanced insight into business performance.
  • Build and improve utilisation reporting to strengthen forecasting capability and operational efficiency.
  • Produce detailed management reports, Board packs, KPI reporting and insightful variance analysis.
  • Partner closely with Operations and senior stakeholders, providing commercial challenge and financial guidance.
  • Analyse profitability, resource utilisation and commercial performance to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement by automating reporting, enhancing planning processes and improving financial governance.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives and help develop best-in-class FP&A practices.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building a high-performing FP&A function.

What we're looking for:

You'll be an analytical and commercially focused finance professional who enjoys influencing decisions through data and insight.

You'll ideally have:

  • 3-5+ years' experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance or a similar analytical finance role.
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or be part-qualified with relevant experience).
  • Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting expertise.
  • Experience producing high-quality management reporting and Board-level presentations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP, planning or BI tools such as SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, Power BI, TM1 or similar.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge, influence and collaborate across the business.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for delivering better reporting, processes and commercial insight.
