Senior FP&A Analyst | PE-Backed Technology | London

£80,000–£90,000 + bonus + benefits

I'm partnering with a market leading, private equity-backed technology business operating in a highly commercial, project-led environment. With a strong global presence and ambitious growth plans, the company is continuing to invest in its finance function and is looking to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst.

Reporting directly to the FP&A Director, this is a highly visible role with regular exposure to the CFO and wider executive leadership team. You'll play a key role in business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, board reporting and delivering commercial insight to support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead key elements of the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, owning revenue and overhead forecasts and developing robust financial models.
  • Board Reporting: Prepare monthly board packs, providing insightful commentary on financial performance, KPIs and emerging business trends.
  • Business Partnering: Partner with department heads across the business to analyse performance, challenge assumptions and drive accountability against budgets.
  • Financial Analysis: Deliver variance analysis, project profitability reviews and ad-hoc commercial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Commercial Performance: Work closely with Finance, Operations and Sales teams globally to identify opportunities to improve margins and business performance.
  • Data & Insights: Collaborate with BI and Commercial Operations teams to enhance reporting through dashboards, data visualisation and actionable insights.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements across FP&A processes, reporting and forecasting capabilities.
  • Strategic Projects: Support the CFO, FP&A Director and wider leadership team on strategic initiatives and business-critical projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
