Senior FP&A Analyst | PE-Backed Technology | London
£80,000–£90,000 + bonus + benefits
I'm partnering with a market leading, private equity-backed technology business operating in a highly commercial, project-led environment. With a strong global presence and ambitious growth plans, the company is continuing to invest in its finance function and is looking to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst.
Reporting directly to the FP&A Director, this is a highly visible role with regular exposure to the CFO and wider executive leadership team. You'll play a key role in business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, board reporting and delivering commercial insight to support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead key elements of the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, owning revenue and overhead forecasts and developing robust financial models.
- Board Reporting: Prepare monthly board packs, providing insightful commentary on financial performance, KPIs and emerging business trends.
- Business Partnering: Partner with department heads across the business to analyse performance, challenge assumptions and drive accountability against budgets.
- Financial Analysis: Deliver variance analysis, project profitability reviews and ad-hoc commercial analysis to support decision-making.
- Commercial Performance: Work closely with Finance, Operations and Sales teams globally to identify opportunities to improve margins and business performance.
- Data & Insights: Collaborate with BI and Commercial Operations teams to enhance reporting through dashboards, data visualisation and actionable insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements across FP&A processes, reporting and forecasting capabilities.
- Strategic Projects: Support the CFO, FP&A Director and wider leadership team on strategic initiatives and business-critical projects.

What We're Looking For:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- 4–5+ years' experience within FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering roles
- Strong financial modelling capability with experience building models from scratch
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Proven ability to present financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, inquisitive and commercially focused approach
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Desirable Experience:
- Experience within a Private Equity-backed business
- Exposure to technology, software or B2B environments
- NetSuite, Salesforce and Power BI experience
- SQL knowledge
