About the Role

Our client is a leading insurance organisation with a strong reputation for innovation, commercial excellence, and data-driven decision making. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their Finance team to support strategic planning, forecasting, and business performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FP&A professional who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, improving planning processes, and leveraging technology to enhance financial decision-making.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will play a key role in delivering financial insight, supporting strategic planning, and driving improvements across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Working closely with Finance, Commercial, and Operational stakeholders, you will help provide meaningful analysis while contributing to the ongoing development of the organisation's planning capabilities and finance systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across multiple business areas.
  • Produce insightful management reporting, variance analysis, and executive-level presentations.
  • Build robust financial models to support strategic decision-making and business cases.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight into financial performance.
  • Deliver scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyse business performance, profitability, revenue, and operational KPIs.
  • Work closely with Finance Systems and Technology teams to optimise planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Support the continued development and utilisation of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools to improve planning accuracy, automation, and reporting capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline FP&A processes and contribute to finance transformation initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
