Senior FP&A Specialist
Senior FP&A Specialist – £400–475/day (OUTSIDE IR35) – West London (4 days in office)
A global fintech organisation requires a senior FP&A contractor for a six-month assignment.
Working closely with the FP&A Lead, Finance department, and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to financial analysis across FX, crypto, and brokerage services, enabling data-driven strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of FP&A, delivering insights for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models and Power BI dashboards to track performance trends, identify key drivers, and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Scrutinise daily P&L and KPIs for accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly flash P&L reports and track performance against budget, providing actionable commercial commentary.
- Review segment performance data and monthly management packs to support Group and entity-specific Board meeting materials, including slide decks.
- Lead process improvements in planning, reporting, and data flows to boost team efficiency and data quality.

Essential Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA qualification with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Experience in Financial Services, ideally within a fintech environment.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and Power BI, with experience building dashboards from scratch.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
