Senior Fragrance Development Manager

Senior Fragrance Development Manager, Surface Care

Location: London, UK - Southall, Middlesex

Join us as a Senior Fragrance Development Manager in Surface Care, where you’ll lead the full fragrance innovation cycle, transforming consumer insights into inspiring scents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, shape olfactive strategies, and create products that delight customers while driving sustainable impact.


Responsive Responsibilities

  • Leading the full fragrance development cycle for assigned accounts, from initial brief to adoption
  • Collaborating with Perfumers, Technical Development Teams, Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Commercial teams to deliver beneficial solutions for clients
  • Delivering winning fragrance themes aligned with customer expectations and consumer needs, informed by data
  • Maintaining vigilant awareness of scented products in assigned categories to identify olfactive trends and opportunities
  • Acting as the Development Partner for the Sales teams, co-creating fragrance strategies, brainstorming ideas, and nurturing client relationships
  • Building sound olfactive strategies based on consumer insights
  • Collaborating with team members to develop consumer insight plans for continuous knowledge enhancement

Your Contribution

Must Have

• Education: University degree is mandated • Experience: Five years (or more) of consecutive fragrance development, with experience in Home and/or Surface Cleaning Fragrances preferred • Olfactive aptitude: Be olfactively trained • Proven delivery: Track record of successful fragrance launches • Soft skills: Digital savviness, communication, organisation, and project management

• A creative & strategic thinker with a growth mindset and curiosity to adapt • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a collaborative team
