Description

The interface is where a compliance officer decides whether to trust an AI's answer. You'd own it.

Standard Intelligence is the system of record for AI governance obligations: a platform, built on our own obligation-level regulatory knowledge graph, that tells regulated enterprises what the EU AI Act, GDPR, NIS2, DORA, and product-liability reform require of their AI systems. Enforcement began in August 2026. You would be one of the first ten people, and the only front-end engineer, with real ownership of everything a user sees.

What you'll do

  • Build the product UI in Next.js (App Router), React, and TypeScript, with Server Components and streaming doing real work on the agentic surfaces: obligation views, evidence chains, audit trails, human-in-the-loop review workflows.
  • Own the design system, an extracted shadcn/ui + Radix + Tailwind component library with Storybook and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility tests enforced in CI, and the polish bar regulated-enterprise buyers expect (there is no designer; your design sensibility is the design function).
  • Stand up our content platform on Sanity with proper structured content modelling, working with our Content & Category Lead.
  • Use and improve the agentic harness layer: tool-use loops, streaming states, interruption and recovery, Zod-validated structured tool output, turning our data asset output into UI a compliance officer can act on.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You might be a fit if

  • You're a senior front-end engineer with React and TypeScript in production.
  • You've shipped on Sanity or an equivalent headless CMS and modelled structured content properly, ideally with Sanity Presentation.
  • You've written agentic harness code (orchestration around LLM calls with tool use, evals, and structured output, not just called an API from a component).
  • You're comfortable in a TypeScript-strict, Tailwind + shadcn/ui codebase.
  • Dense data displayed clearly, keyboard-first workflows, and honest loading states are things you have opinions about.
