About the Role
We're partnering with one of the world's most successful quantitative investment firms to hire an exceptional Senior Front End React Engineer. This is an opportunity to build sophisticated trading and analytics platforms that are used by some of the brightest minds in quantitative finance.
This isn't a role where you'll be building marketing websites or standard business applications. You'll work directly alongside quantitative researchers, traders, and engineering teams to create ultra-high-performance, data-rich applications that enable real-time decision making in global financial markets.
If you're passionate about crafting elegant user experiences for highly complex systems, enjoy solving technically demanding problems, and want to work in an environment where engineering excellence is genuinely valued, we'd love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
