Senior Front End Developer
React | Next.js | TypeScript
Hybrid Working | £60,000 - £70,000
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Frontend Developer who is looking for a fast-growing ecommerce business that are looking to strengthen their engineering function with the addition of a Senior Front End Developer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building modern, scalable frontend applications and wants to play a key role in shaping both the product and technical direction of a business that is continuing to invest heavily in technology.
The role will sit within a collaborative product engineering environment, working closely with backend developers, product teams, designers and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences used by a large customer base.

The opportunity:
- Building and enhancing modern web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript
- Driving frontend architecture and best practice across projects
- Working on performance optimisation, scalability and user experience improvements
- Collaborating closely with UX/UI teams to bring designs to life
- Contributing to technical discussions, code reviews and engineering standards
- Mentoring and supporting more junior developers within the team
- Playing a genuine role in product and technical decision-making
The business are looking for someone with:
- Strong commercial experience with React and Next.js
- Excellent JavaScript / TypeScript knowledge
- Experience building scalable, component-driven frontend applications
- Strong understanding of APIs and frontend/backend integrations
- A passion for clean code, performance and user experience
- Experience working within agile development environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
