An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join a highly regarded digital commerce business. This role offers the chance to create engaging ecommerce experiences, own frontend architecture decisions, and work on complex projects for recognised brands. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences across modern commerce platforms.
Based in a remote-first UK environment, the position offers flexibility, autonomy, and genuine opportunities for professional growth. The organisation is seeking a passionate frontend specialist who enjoys solving technical challenges and delivering exceptional user experiences.
What experience you’ll need to apply
- Proven commercial experience in a Frontend Developer role within ecommerce environments.
- Strong experience working with Magento Open Source and/or Adobe Commerce.
- Excellent HTML, CSS and JavaScript (ES6+) skills.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar.
- Strong understanding of component-based development and state management.
- Experience integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Proven track record building product pages, checkout experiences and ecommerce user journeys.
- Strong knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Experience optimising Core Web Vitals and frontend performance.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and WCAG best practices.
- Experience using Git, pull requests and code review processes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Jira, or agency environments would be advantageous.

What you’ll be doing
As part of the development team, you will lead the design and delivery of frontend solutions across Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce platforms. You will take ownership of frontend architecture, build reusable components, and create responsive interfaces that deliver excellent customer experiences. You will work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, UX Designers, QA specialists, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions. You will contribute to technical discovery sessions, advise on frontend technologies, and help shape implementation approaches. Day to day, you will build and customise ecommerce storefronts, integrate APIs and third-party tools, optimise site performance, improve accessibility standards, and support deployment, migration, and continuous improvement activities. You will also mentor colleagues and champion frontend best practices across multiple projects.
