Spliit is a Manchester-based fintech building modern financial products that help customers manage their money smarter. We are a small, ambitious global team where engineers have direct ownership of what they ship and a real say in how the platform evolves. As we scale, we are growing our core product engineering team and looking for people who care about quality, pace, and building something that lasts.

The Role

We are looking for a senior, frontend developer to lead the build of our customer-facing mobile experience. You will own the React Native application end-to-end — architecture, performance, release pipeline, and the user experience that millions of pounds of customer activity will eventually flow through. You will work closely with our backend engineers on the Microsoft stack to design clean, secure APIs and deliver features that feel fast and trustworthy.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the frontend development of our React Native mobile app (iOS and Android)
  • Own the mobile build, release, and crash-monitoring pipeline
  • Design and integrate APIs with our .NET / C# backend services
  • Drive code quality through reviews, pairing, and pragmatic standards
  • Collaborate with product and design on UX, performance, and accessibility
  • Mentor mid-level engineers as the team grows
  • Contribute to backend work where it makes sense — we value full stack instincts

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
