About the role
We're a relatively small fintech team building live commodity market data tools for traders. We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help us build fast, reliable interfaces that traders rely on every day. You'll work closely with a tight-knit engineering team and have real ownership over what we ship.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain trader-facing features with a focus on performance and reliability
- Work with real-time data feeds and high-density data displays
- Collaborate across the team on architecture and technical decisions
- Help raise the bar on code quality, testing, and frontend best practices

Must have
- Strong TypeScript skills and a solid grasp of the type system
- Deep experience with React, including hooks, state management, and performance optimisation
- Experience working with GraphQL APIs
- Hands-on experience with WebSockets for real-time data streaming
- Experience using Web Workers to keep heavy processing off the main thread
Nice to have
- Experience with AG grid or other high-performance data grid libraries
- Familiarity with TanStack Query (React Query)
- Background in fintech, trading, or other real-time data environments
