Senior Full Stack Developer

Initial 6 Month Contract (rolling 6 months, long term)
£500-550 per day, Inside IR35
Remote - possibly 1 or 2 meetings per month in Leeds or London

Unify are working with a leading UK Consultancy, supporting the build of a talented Engineering team to deliver a high-profile NHS program.

We need 2 x Senior Full Stack Developers ASAP!

Role Overview

You will provide technical expertise in.NET, C#, React, and Azure to expand the system capabilities, including:

Feature Development and Implementation

  • Design and develop robust, secure, and scalable functionality, leveraging.NET/C# for the back-end services and React for the user interface.
  • Ensure data integration and synchronisation with relevant internal and external data sources, facilitating data flow via the FHIR API using full CRUD capabilities, specifically integrating with Azure services for reliable data exchange and storage.
  • Integrate and support single sign-on functionality, utilising Azure Active Directory (AAD) or similar Azure identity services.
  • Ensure the new booking features are compliant and align with established national capabilities and standards for patient communication and scheduling, with front-end development using React.

Technical Architecture and Design

  • Provide senior-level input on the technical design, ensuring solutions are performant, resilient, and maintainable, with an emphasis on Azure cloud architecture and best practices for.NET/C# applications.
  • Ensure all new features and integrations adhere to NHS architecture, security, data governance, and clinical safety standards (as required for Acceptance Criteria for all deliverables).

Quality Assurance and Standards

  • Establish and enforce high-quality coding standards for.NET/C# and React, conducting thorough code reviews and providing technical mentorship to junior team members.
  • Own the deployment and release process for new features within an Azure DevOps or similar pipeline, including developing comprehensive unit and integration tests and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) to achieve the 'Technical demonstration of service capability' for all deliverables.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate closely with product owners, clinical safety officers, operational teams, and other technical stakeholders to clarify the requirements for all SOW deliverables and translate them into technical specifications for the full-stack team.
  • Provide regular technical updates on progress, risks, and dependencies to project management and senior stakeholders.
