Senior Full Stack Developer - Leeds (Hybrid)
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team in Leeds. This is a hybrid role, with two days in the office each week.
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the products that sit at the core of our technology landscape. Working within a cloud-native environment, you'll design, build, and deliver high-quality solutions across the full technology stack - including front-end applications, back-end services, APIs, and data integrations while promoting engineering best practices and technical excellence.
Collaborating closely with Product, Delivery, and Platform teams, you'll create secure, scalable, and user-focused applications that support our technology-driven transformation and future growth.
Please note: We're actively building a talent pipeline for this role. While there isn't an immediate vacancy, we're keen to connect with experienced senior developers who would be interested in future opportunities as our team continues to expand.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications across the front end, back end, APIs, and data integrations.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of features, from technical design and architecture through to development, testing, and deployment.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, following modern engineering standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Partner with Platform and DevOps teams to enable reliable deployments, strong system observability, and efficient CI/CD processes.
- Champion code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, contributing to engineering standards and design principles across the team.
- Actively contribute within an Agile Scrum environment, supporting sprint planning, solution design, estimation, and delivery.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using logs, monitoring, metrics, and tracing tools.
- Influence technical direction and architectural decisions, helping to shape the future of our platforms and products.
- Mentor and support less experienced engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting engineering excellence across the team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
