About the Role
You're a strong full stack engineer who uses agentic tooling seriously in your day-to-day work. Not as a shortcut, but as a way to move faster and deliver better. You don't need someone to define every problem for you, but you're not looking to own the roadmap either. You want to do great engineering work on something that matters. If that's you, keep reading.
You'll be embedded into the product team of one of the UK's leading procurement platforms as your first project here. The platform connects organisations managing construction projects with the suppliers who deliver them. It's high-traffic, and there's serious engineering work to be done at every layer of the stack.
The platform runs on PHP/Laravel with a growing set of Python services, and its front end is built on Laravel Nova. Beyond this project, our work is generally TypeScript and React, so your front-end skills won't be parked here. The engineers who do well are polyglots who pick up whatever the problem needs, and in a world of agentic engineering the specific language matters less than it used to. What matters is judgment, quality, and the ability to ship.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Key Requirements
To do this well, you'll need to be someone who:
- Has strong experience at Senior Full Stack level in commercial, production environments
- Is comfortable working across both PHP/Laravel and Python, even if you're deeper in one than the other
- Has used agentic engineering tools to ship real features into production systems, not just personal projects
- Has solid front-end experience, ideally React or TypeScript, and is willing to work with Laravel Nova on this project
Bonus Points If You
- Have built and deployed cloud-native applications on Azure
- Can provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Are handy with Node.js
What You Get In Return
You'll be working on a real platform with real scale, alongside engineers who take the craft seriously. The work is varied and you'll have the seniority to contribute to how things are done, not just what gets shipped.
Agentic engineering is genuinely central to how this project works, not a buzzword on a job advert. You'll be using these tools in production every day, which means the experience you build here is current, practical, and transferable.

Sound like you?
Apply below and we'll set up a call to find out whether we're a good fit for each other. We'll want to hear about a time you've used agentic tooling to solve a real problem in a production environment. Not the tools you use, the problem you solved, and what you had to put in place to make it work safely.
