Job Description
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at ScienceMachine, you will take ownership of both product and infrastructure, building the platform powering agentic AI for bioanalysis. You will move seamlessly between React interfaces and Kubernetes workloads on GCP, hardening the system as it scales from pilots into production environments for global scientific teams.

What You Will Do
- Build product features across React, Next.js, and TypeScript while designing and maintaining backend Python services and REST APIs.
- Manage and scale production infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes on GCP to support high-reliability workloads.
- Collaborate with scientists and customers to translate real-world bioanalysis workflows into robust, automated product capabilities and agentic systems.
The ideal candidate
- Extensive full-stack experience with modern React/TypeScript and Python backend development, including sophisticated PostgreSQL schema design and data modeling.
- Proven track record managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform and running production containerized workloads on Google Cloud Platform.
- Pragmatic, product-minded engineer who excels in ambiguous environments and prioritizes building secure, reliable systems that solve real user problems.
