Senior Full Stack Engineer - Perm - £80-130k
London (Office-based, 5 days per week)
We're partnering with an ambitious, venture-backed technology company that is building intelligent software used by organisations across multiple industries. Following significant growth, they're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help scale their platform, develop new product capabilities, and play a key role in the next generation of AI-powered applications.
If you're someone who enjoys solving complex engineering problems, shipping high-quality software, and experimenting with modern AI tooling, this is a role where you'll have genuine influence.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and building scalable backend services and APIs.
- Developing modern, responsive front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Building features that leverage AI technologies, including LLM integrations, intelligent workflows, automation, and AI-assisted user experiences.
- Creating internal AI tooling to improve engineering productivity, software delivery, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering and Infrastructure teams to deliver new features from concept through to production.
- Improving platform scalability, performance, monitoring and observability.
- Writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code and contributing to technical design discussions.
- Helping drive engineering best practice across architecture, testing, CI/CD and deployment.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for an engineer who enjoys working across multiple technologies and wants to be part of a fast-moving product environment.

You'll ideally have:
- 3+ years' commercial software engineering experience.
- Strong backend development experience using Python or Go.
- Strong frontend experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar databases.
- Experience building scalable distributed systems or customer-facing SaaS platforms.
- A strong understanding of software architecture, APIs and cloud-native development.
Desirable experience includes:
- AI application development, including LLM APIs, AI agents, retrieval workflows or prompt engineering.
- Experience building AI-powered internal developer tools or workflow automation.
- Platform engineering, streaming technologies or high-performance systems.
