Senior Software Engineer - Foodtech Start-up

Location: London

Hybrid: 2 days in office (3 can be remote in UK)

Salary: £60-70k + equity

This job opportunity is for one of the most exciting early-stage foodtech startups in London right now, building the operational and logistics infrastructure behind modern workplace catering. Having rapidly scaled and tripled revenue over the past two years, they’re now hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build the next generation of the platform from the ground up.

This is a genuinely high-impact opportunity within a fast-growing startup that is still early enough for individual hires to have real influence over the product, technology and wider company direction.

You won’t be joining a heavily layered corporate environment or maintaining legacy systems with little visibility over impact. The team is lean, collaborative and highly product-focused, with close working relationships across founders, product, engineering and operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
