Senior Full Stack Engineer
Senior Full Stack Engineer | Bracknell (Hybrid: 2–3 days in office)
About the Role
We’re hiring a senior full stack engineer to work with a payments company that requires strong end-to-end ownership of critical systems. Your tech stack should include:
- Frontend: Vue or React
- Backend: C# / .NET
- Production Infrastructure: AWS (including CI/CD)
- Modernised Development: Daily use of agentic coding tools
If you have experience in payments, FX, or other regulated environments, this could be a strong fit.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Delivery
- Own full-stack features supporting money movement and multi-currency balances, from onboarding/KYC/KYB through to payment initiation, FX, and settlement
- Lead development of customer-facing features, from UI to backend services
- Define technical direction for your domain, shape team processes, and refine architectural approaches

- Ensure production health of your domain, including:
- Reliability & observability
- On-call & incident response
- Debugging systems under pressure
Leadership & Collaboration
- Partner with product, design, and compliance teams across the feature lifecycle
- Lead design reviews, mentor mid-level engineers, and influence architecture decisions
Tooling & Innovation
- Adopt agentic coding tools actively throughout development, modernising legacy systems where needed
Requirements
Technical Proficiencies
✅ Full Stack Production Experience – Track record of end-to-end development ✅ Frontend – Strong mastery of Vue.js or React (or equivalent) ✅ Backend & Infrastructure – Deep expertise in C# / .NET ✅ Databases – Solid fundamentals in SQL and relational databases ✅ Development Lifecycle Tools – Familiarity with agentic coding tools ✅ AWS in Production –
- Strong background managing services like SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Lambda
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines ✅ System Architecture – Experience with:
- Microservices design
- Event-driven patterns

Regulated Environment Experience
💳 Payments, FX, or compliance-centric experience required
Leadership & Collaboration
🗣️ Current or past roles involving:
- Mentoring junior engineers
- Leading design reviews
- Shaping architectural strategies
