I’m currently partnering with a leading financial services organisation looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and evolve a modern, enterprise-grade platform at the heart of the business.
This is an opportunity to work on technology that powers core business capabilities, building scalable, resilient solutions across a modern enterprise platform. You’ll play a key role in developing shared technology capabilities that support multiple business functions while working alongside experienced engineers, architects, and product teams.
The role offers a mix of backend engineering and front-end development, giving you the opportunity to work across distributed microservices, cloud-native applications, event-driven architectures, and enterprise APIs. You’ll contribute to the development of shared platform capabilities including API gateways, centralised APIs, connectivity frameworks, and AI-enabled services, helping shape the future of the organisation’s technology landscape.
They’re looking for energetic, adaptable engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, thrive in collaborative environments, and are comfortable responding to changing business priorities. You’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas and influence technical direction.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
