Senior Salesforce Functional Consultant (x2) – Permanent

  • Salary: £55,000 – £62,000 per annum

  • Seamless collaboration between 65+ IT professionals (Software Dev, IT Ops, Security).
  • Development of transformational technology solutions.

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Salesforce Functional Consultant, you’ll drive continuous improvement of our Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platform for over 16,000 users—empowering colleagues and students across Arden.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • administer, configure, and escalate issues for our enterprise Salesforce platform.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into tailored solutions.
  • Champion data quality, process automation, and user adoption.
  • Collaborate with Business Systems to embed a configuration-first approach aligned with our proactive Salesforce roadmap.

About You

Arden thrives on innovative problem-solvers who thrive in dynamic environments.

Essential Criteria:

  • 4+ years experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a complex organisation, with platform escalation and ownership responsibility.
  • Advanced proficiency in declarative Salesforce configurations (Flows, reports, automation, security).
  • Deep expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator; hands-on experience implementing business rules/virtual objects/record-sharing models.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management skills.
  • Experience working within Agile/scrum environments or structured delivery teams.

Desirable Qualifications:

✔ Advanced or higher Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud/Service Cloud Consultant). ✔ Hands-on experience supporting enterprise-scale datasets (1M+ records/user thresholds). ✔ Experience with Omni-Channel or similar Salesforce features. ✔ Mentoring/capability-building roles within IT teams. ✔ Background in higher education, public sector, or highly-regulated environments (governance frameworks). ✔ Experience with Jira or similar workline demand tools. ✔ Staff oversight across flexible work arrangements.
