The Problems You’ll Solve

As a Senior Fund Accountant, You’ll Be Focused On:

  • Performing rigorous fund administration and accounting tasks, including but not limited to:
    • Managing investor transactions
    • Processing capital calls
    • Generating NAVs (including capital accounts and financial reports)
    • Preparing annual financial statements
  • Enhancing fund accounting processes by collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to drive improvements.
  • Navigating complex challenges at the intersection of law, accounting, finance, regulation, and tax.
  • Proactively sharing expertise internally, advising on automation strategies to optimise fund structures and elevate our products.
  • Embracing a can-do mentality, eager to learn and led by the rewarding pace of a start-up environment.

About You – Essential Requirements

  • Prior experience in preparing fund accounts and financial statements aligned with IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, among others.
  • 4+ years’ experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably within the funds industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of closed-end fund accounting mechanics.
  • Audit support capability.
  • Numerical Bachelor’s degree with a preference for Accountancy/Finance.
  • In-depth knowledge and curiosity about the Private Equity, Venture Capital, and start-up ecosystem.
  • Partial qualification as an ACA or ACCA accountant (not essential but beneficial).
