The Problems You’ll Solve
As a Senior Fund Accountant, You’ll Be Focused On:
- Performing rigorous fund administration and accounting tasks, including but not limited to:
- Managing investor transactions
- Processing capital calls
- Generating NAVs (including capital accounts and financial reports)
- Preparing annual financial statements
- Enhancing fund accounting processes by collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to drive improvements.
- Navigating complex challenges at the intersection of law, accounting, finance, regulation, and tax.
- Proactively sharing expertise internally, advising on automation strategies to optimise fund structures and elevate our products.
- Embracing a can-do mentality, eager to learn and led by the rewarding pace of a start-up environment.
About You – Essential Requirements
- Prior experience in preparing fund accounts and financial statements aligned with IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, among others.
- 4+ years’ experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably within the funds industry.
- Strong technical understanding of closed-end fund accounting mechanics.
- Audit support capability.
- Numerical Bachelor’s degree with a preference for Accountancy/Finance.
- In-depth knowledge and curiosity about the Private Equity, Venture Capital, and start-up ecosystem.
- Partial qualification as an ACA or ACCA accountant (not essential but beneficial).
